Solicit family members to bring a designated number of items from a list you create specific to your family. Ask that each item be assembled on a specific size sheet of paper, or inserted into a sheet protector for easy assembling at your gathering. If duplicate heritage scrapbooks are desired, simply request copies of all submitted items.
A Colorful photo is a treasured memory of the reunion. Request each member of a family branch to wear a specific color. When everyone gathers together for the family photo, group yourselves by color. After the photo is developed, identify the family members names associated with the color on the picture. If close connections are desired, add birthdays, anniversaries and other special dates.
